This forward-looking perspective adopted by Omar Ibrahim, ICT Misr Head of Information Security Business Unit, motivated him to break into the field of information security after working in the business administration field for a few years.

Through his 15-year journey in the information security sector, Ibrahim learned how to describe situations, problems, and challenges security solutions can solve.

He could also map impact statements to these challenges, list the key buyers and influencers for any security solution, identify obstacles to success, compose relevant messages, and discuss different options to solve these challenges making it clear how badly businesses are affected if these challenges are not resolved.

Ibrahim has ultimately become a professional in bridging the gap between business and information technology. He believes that at the heart of digital transformation, information security has become a business enabler instead of cost center for any organization.

Ibrahim joined ICT Misr from Symantec, the giant enterprise security software provider, where he served as a Senior Presales Consultant for Egypt and Levant for around five years. He also worked in renowned ICT companies like Aptec and Intel Security-McAfee. Besides, he is CCISO, CISSP, CEH, Security+, MCSE certified professional.

Ibrahim works with the cybersecurity solutions team on advancing our cybersecurity offerings towards positioning ICT Misr as a comprehensive system integrator in Egypt. The mission Ibrahim believes in and is committed to, is to deliver value and create impact.
