Even though information technology is undoubtedly evolving at lightning speed, Mohamed El-Mofty, ICT Misr CEO and Co-founder could still embrace all the advancements and developments that took place in that sector through his 20+ years career life.
As a skillful fast learner, he could stand out as a committed ICT professional and trusted advisor with extensive technical experience in computing systems, storage infrastructure solutions, data protection, networking, mainframes, and mainstream operating systems.
For around twelve years, he managed the IBM Storage and Infrastructure Solutions sales in Egypt and could achieve unprecedented success and realize the vision of the largest technology provider in the world. Adopting the latest technology and promoting what is best for his customers’ business advancement, he was the innovative partner to lead customers’ solutions development with ultimate awareness of their business applications to reach appropriate integration and smooth transformation.
During that time, he was able to build a great reputation running after customer satisfaction and mutual success building a professional team that was well known as a customer-oriented partner.
In 2018, he decided to go for his own venture. Teaming up with a group of passionate information technology experts, El-Mofty started ICT Misr; an enthusiastic IT consultancy firm and system integrator.
In everyday business life, El-Mofty works relentlessly to maintain a sustainable relationship of mutual trust, not only with ICT Misr clients but with his workmates as well. He adopts the saying “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, we go together.”
Since he has been in business from a very early age, Mostafa Shaker, ICT Misr Managing Director and Co-founder has been the main driving force behind launching ICT Misr in 2018.
Together with Mohamed El-Mofty, they believed that there is still much more to be done in the ICT market in Egypt. Thanks to mutual trust and harmony, they could integrate each other’s ideas for the sake of a larger purpose; that is establishing a local system integrator with global standards.
As a young entrepreneur, his business mindset could overcome all the obstacles that faced ICT Misr at the beginning. This mindset was enhanced by his 12-year information technology experience in local and international ICT providers.
Shaker holds a success-oriented personality that considers every failure a new learning opportunity. ICT Misr team depends on his unique strategic thinking, business tactics, and planning skills to realize their vision of ICT Misr as an undisputed leader in system integration, data management, and analytics in the near future.
A young enthusiastic and versatile professional who could move up the ladder of success in a very short time. Amr Nour’s multidisciplinary experience in technical implementations, business development, sales, and pre-sales in the ICT market placed him as the Sales Director in ICT Misr. He brings to the position a successful track record of more than 12 years that includes high-profile leadership positions and recognized sales achievements in the high-tech industry.
Prior to joining ICT Misr, Nour oversaw sales for industry leaders like IBM and Veritas, where he nurtured key relationships and established strategic partnerships. Significant revenue growth for these companies was accomplished through his strong networking skills, commitment, and customer-oriented approach.
Nour’s vast knowledge about the latest technologies in Egypt clearly shapes his vision for ICT Misr. He believes that ICT Misr will be at the top of the digitalization game very soon, as its team can very skillfully create clever, effective, and disruptive ways of leveraging technology for any institution including banking and financial ones.
No wonder he is known in the Egyptian ICT market as the savior. Amr Tarek, ICT Misr Chief Technology Officer, is considered a one-of-a-kind ICT professional. Not only because of his solid technical background in infrastructure (especially UNIX systems), virtualization, and data protection but also for his round-the-clock support for his business partners.
In ten years, Tarek recorded many remarkable achievements through making advanced technical implementations in gigantic telecommunications, governmental, and financial entities like Etisalat Egypt, Mobinil Egypt, the Arab International Bank, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Petrobel, and many others. Tarek has committed himself to deliver high-quality multilevel service-level agreement (SLA) and troubleshooting services to his clients. He is always there for ICT Misr customers any time of the day or week with ceaseless technical help and advice.
For him, the client is a success partner, not merely a user. That is why Osama Salah, ICT Misr Technology Offering Director, has that sense of genuine commitment to the clients’ best interest, employing innovative technologies to help transform their businesses.
Leading with influence cross-functional teams of design, solution selling, and support, he is responsible for every facet of the overall user experience and financial success of the offered solutions.
During the last 18 years, Salah held leading positions achieving value sales in matrix-based organizations across different sectors and industry verticals including telecom, financial services, Oil and Gas, manufacturing, and governmental, public, and military sectors.
He believes in the infinite possibilities of ICT technology especially Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, and Machine Learning, and Robotic Process Automation solutions. These are the key success factors that will enable ICT Misr to deliver true business value.
Salah faces daily complex challenges while races to meet the rising expectations of the clients.
However, he is still driving to his office every morning with great enthusiasm empowered by his belief in IT innovation and most importantly driven by that strong passion for solving any problem with technology.
What is more important than building up a business is securing it. This forward-looking perspective adopted by Omar Ibrahim, ICT Misr Head of Information Security Business Unit, motivated him to break into the field of information security after working in the business administration field for a few years.
Through his 15-year journey in the information security sector, Ibrahim learned how to describe situations, problems, and challenges security solutions can solve.
He could also map impact statements to these challenges, list the key buyers and influencers for any security solution, identify obstacles to success, compose relevant messages, and discuss different options to solve these challenges making it clear how badly businesses are affected if these challenges are not resolved.
Ibrahim has ultimately become a professional in bridging the gap between business and information technology. He believes that at the heart of digital transformation, information security has become a business enabler instead of cost center for any organization.
Ibrahim joined ICT Misr from Symantec, the giant enterprise security software provider, where he served as a Senior Presales Consultant for Egypt and Levant for around five years. He also worked in renowned ICT companies like Aptec and Intel Security-McAfee. Besides, he is CCISO, CISSP, CEH, Security+, MCSE certified professional.
Ibrahim works with the cybersecurity solutions team on advancing our cybersecurity offerings towards positioning ICT Misr as a comprehensive system integrator in Egypt. The mission Ibrahim believes in and is committed to, is to deliver value and create impact.
