In the framework of empowering banks with smart IT solutions, ICT Misr has teamed up with Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB). This cooperation was formed to reinforce the bank’s IT infrastructure by covering its needs from an array of different services. ICT Misr’s role was not confined to only reinforcement but also fashioning a backup solution from scratch that is specifically addressing the bank’s requirements.
ADCB was established in 1985. With a steadfast pace, the bank managed to be the third pioneering financial institution in United Arab Emirates (UAE) and fifth in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Believing in the importance of technology and how it acts as a business enabler, ADCB won the “Innovators 2020” award in the Middle East region, from the “Global Finance” magazine for its advanced digital services.
On the grounds of maintaining the same level of performance, ADCB sought out ICT Misr for implementing comprehensive software that can cope with the bank’s business load. With this in mind, ICT Misr has deployed Veritas, its platinum partner, with a set of paramount appliances. This all played a role in boosting the bank’s productivity, improving its availability, and streamlining its management.
Simultaneously, ICT Misr’s experts were engineering customized backup solutions from scratch. These solutions gave ADCB an edge of having an alternative data recovery plan standing by in case of any failures, accidental loss, or deletion of data. In addition, the bank was capable of timely storing new information, and securing existing data with no fear of any upcoming challenges.
“ICT Misr has a highly skillful team of experts in financial infrastructure solutions”. With these words, Hisham Mohey the CIO at ADCB concluded his experience with ICT Misr in a nutshell. That is to say, we are pleased to have undertaken such a project with ADCB where we helped them safeguard their information and prepare for what’s coming.
